Job summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and meticulous Body Shop Porter to perform the final cleanup and restoration of vehicles after repairs are complete. The ideal candidate will be a detail-oriented finisher, passionate about their craft, and committed to upholding our high-quality standards.
Responsibilities:
Perform all levels of automotive detailing, including cleaning, polishing, and waxing vehicle exteriors.
Color-sand, de-nib, and buff freshly painted surfaces to remove imperfections and achieve a flawless mirror gloss finish.
Thoroughly clean and vacuum vehicle interiors.
Clean all exterior and interior windows, door jambs, and engine compartments.
Remove all paint overspray and other residue from repaired areas.
Inspect vehicles for any remaining flaws or discrepancies and report issues to management.
Install cosmetic parts, decals, or stripes as needed.
Maintain a clean and organized workstation and ensure all equipment and products are stored safely and properly.
Assist with other shop duties , empty trash, clean shop and vehicle transport as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in automotive detailing, with an emphasis on collision repair or high-end detailing preferred.
Proficiency with detailing tools, including buffers, polishers, vacuums, and steam cleaners.
Strong knowledge of detailing chemicals, products, and techniques.
Excellent attention to detail and a keen eye for imperfections.
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
A valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
The ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
